With the month of Ramadan soon coming to a close, Ramadan Mubarak to our Muslim neighbors who are observing. And, this May we are excited to tell you more about the Great Expectations (GE) Initiative. GE is a collaborative partnership between the Orono and Wayzata School Districts and Interfaith Outreach to help ensure every child in our community has access to educational opportunities from cradle to career. Thank you for preventing hunger!
If the pandemic has reminded us of anything, it is that this caring community knows how to come together to accomplish great things in the face of challenge. Thanks to you, the Interfaith Outreach Prevent Hunger campaign raised $229,000 to prevent hunger in our community. Your financial and in-kind gifts helped stock the food shelf with the most-needed items and fund our food, employment and family support services. Read more.

The annual Great Expectations campaign raises funds to address the educational inequities in our community. The Great Expectations Initiative is anchored by Interfaith Outreach and the Orono and Wayzata School Districts. This year’s goal of raising $400,000 by June 30 will help ensure every child in our community has access to educational opportunities, from cradle to career. Learn more.
